Little Goods brings the cutest nook of curated baby and children’s items to Southold
Tucked into a petite room in the east corner of touchGOODS, you’ll be delighted to discover “Little Goods,” a thoughtfully curated selection with lighting, clothing, seasonal items, nursery and bedroom decor, home goods, gifts, and more.
“Little Goods started with Little Lights, which were originally brought in as an extension of our handmade lighting collection,” shared shop owner Norine Pennacchia. “From there, it naturally grew into something more — a modern nursery space that felt like a natural addition to our already growing and evolving department store. It’s intentionally not a full baby store, but a touch of everything, thoughtfully chosen and design-focused.”
Whether you’re shopping for a baby shower gift, looking for unique lighting for your child’s room, or want to freshen up baby’s nursery for the season, you’ll find it at Little Goods.
“Often, customers browsing touchGOODS will stumble into this corner room and discover an unexpected, cute gift for a loved one while they’re here — something they didn’t know they were looking for,” added Norine.
The space is small by design, stocking only thoughtfully curated items that fit the same standards as touchGOODS.
“Like everything at touchGOODS, Little Goods is thoughtfully curated,” said Norine. “Much of what we choose comes down to what we love and what feels right. We focus on well-made, warm, and giftable pieces that feel special but still practical.”
And, while Norine knew that there weren’t many places on the North Fork to find modern baby items, Little Goods wasn’t initially planned to be its own department.
Norine told us that “Little Goods really began with Little Lights, which felt like a natural extension of our handmade lighting collection. As we introduced them, we saw how well they resonated with customers and how they opened the door to a modern nursery concept. From there, it grew organically into Little Goods — another department within touchGOODS as the store continues to evolve.”
