Meet The Loft — A new family-friendly game lounge located in Southold

Calling all board game-loving families! There’s a brand new spot opening in Southold that’s sure to quickly become a fav family destination.
“The Loft is a brand-new community game lounge located above Rowan Craft Boutique in Southold. It’s a welcoming, family-friendly space designed for play, connection, and creativity,” shared Bunnii Buglione, founder and owner of Rowan Craft Boutique and The Loft.
The new game lounge is slated to open this Friday, September 12, at 6 p.m. Admission will cost $15/person and includes pizza to celebrate opening night, or gamers are welcome to bring their own food.
“Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, and complimentary pizza is included on special nights,” said Bunnii. “We simply ask that everyone cleans up after themselves to keep the space inviting for all. Alcoholic drinks require pre-approval, as we want to make sure this is a space for everyone.”
“The Loft offers a wide selection of classic and modern board games, cozy seating, a SkeeBall machine, and the biggest Monopoly collection we bet you’ve ever seen,” Bunnii told us. “It’s a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together to unplug, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.”
Understanding that it can be tough to carve out time to connect with family without distractions, Bunnii created The Loft as a place for families to “bond over shared activities, spark conversations, and build memories, all within a safe and supportive setting.”
Bunnii plans for The Loft to become more than just a game lounge. “It’s the start of a growing community hub on the North Fork. We’re excited to host themed game nights, tournaments, and collaborations with local makers, creating something truly special for Southold families and beyond.”
Families can visit Rowan Craft Boutique’s website and The Loft’s Instagram for booking links and availability. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended for larger groups or special nights.
General admission is $15 per person for three hours of play. Monthly memberships are available for those who’d like unlimited access, with options for solo players as well as households of up to six people. Additional time beyond the three hours can be purchased at a set hourly rate.
The Loft is open to all ages, but children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian over 21. Everyone is expected to treat the space, the games, and fellow players with respect.
The Loft is located at 53345 Main Road, Building 11, Unit 2 in the Feather Hill Village shopping complex in Southold. The Loft shares the same hours as Rowan Craft Boutique, located on the main floor. Current hours include Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m., Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Private bookings for birthdays, team gatherings, and special events will also be available.
