Mattituck’s Love Lane has gotten even lovelier this season with the openings of Bella Grace Boutique, Party Animal North Fork, and now, Petal & Peep.
Petal & Peep, a children’s boutique specializing in offerings for newborns to toddlers, opened last week at 50 Love Lane in the adjoining space next to Party Animal North Fork.
From gifts to goods, native North Forker and shop owner ToniAnn Sinning carefully curates a collection of beautiful, practical, and high-quality items.
“Every product is chosen with care, with a focus on safety, quality, and bringing joy to both children and the people who love them,” ToniAnn shared. “The majority of the clothing is 100% organic cotton, bamboo, or modal.”
At Petal & Peep, you’ll find thoughtfully chosen books, nursery essentials, wooden toys, plush stuffed animals, children’s clothing and accessories, bathing items, and more.
“Things will continue to evolve as we grow, but shoppers can currently find brands like Apple Park, Quincy Mae, Burt’s Bees Baby, Magnetic Me, Babiators, and Bukowski Bears,” added ToniAnn. “We’re always adding new items and thoughtfully curated finds, so there’s always something fresh to discover. We also feature beautiful quilted crib blankets handmade by a local mom.”
While Petal & Peep is the first of her own, ToniAnn is no stranger to North Fork retail.
ToniAnn told us, “I've always enjoyed finding unique and meaningful gifts for family and friends. After more than 40 years working locally in retail, I’ve developed an eye for products that are both special and approachable. Now, as a grandmother, creating a store centered around little ones and growing families feels especially rewarding. Petal & Peep is a reflection of that experience, passion, and love.”
Petal & Peep’s current hours are Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
