PSA: Spring Break (for many!) is mere days away, but don’t worry — here are 9 North Fork camps, workshops, and events to keep your North Fork kid engaged during the downtime.

Sharpen your soccer skills with North Fork United Soccer Club’s April Spring Break Camp

At this spring break camp, which runs from Monday, April 6, through Thursday, April 9, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., athletes can expect expert coaching from certified trainers, skill-building drills and exercises, fun mini-games and challenges, team-building activities, exciting tournaments and matches, and more. The four-day camp is located at the Southold Town Rec. Center fields in Peconic is open to children of all skill levels, ages 6 to 14. Groups will be sorted by age and ability. Adventure and explore at The Wonder Lab at Peconic Community School

Experience a week-long adventure for little learners, ages 3 through third grade, at Peconic Community School’s The Wonder Lab spring break program. This week of discovery, confidence-building, and outdoor exploration will take place from Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $625 for the week, or drop in for $150/day. Get an inside look at the aquarium at Spring Fun-Cation at Long Island Aquarium

Let your kids spend their break enjoying marine life and aquatic adventures at the Long Island Aquarium’s full week, full day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) spring break camp. Kids, ages 5 to 11, will tour the aquarium, feed the sting rays, catch a sea lion show, visit the arcade, watch a movie, make crafts, and more. Play sports with friends at GymDays Multisport Mini-Camp

Develop skills, make friends, and have fun at this gym-based mini-camp located in the NOFO Wellness Center in Cutchogue. The camp will run from Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, for children ages 6 to 13 (exceptions available). The cost is $400/week, or $100/day. Get fancy with themed fun at Bella Anima

Visit Bella Anima at The Shoppes at East Wind in Wading River weekdays during spring break, Thursday, April 2, through Friday, April 10, for one-hour sessions of themed glam and fun for all kids. Play all day at April Break Camp by Riverhead Parks and Rec.

In this classic camp setting, children in grades K through 6 will play active games, enjoy themed days, spend time outside, play board games, and more. This camp is offered Monday, April 6, through Thursday, April 10, from 8:45 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is located at the George Young Community Center in Jamesport. The full week costs $230/resident, $270/non-resident, or $65/day for residents, $75/day for non-residents. Register here.

Watch a morning movie at North Fork Academy of Dance

On Friday, April 10, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., bring your kids, ages 2.5 to 4.5, to North Fork Academy of Dance in Greenport to watch Clifford the movie, have a snack, make a craft, and have a dance party with friends. Learn more and register here

Enjoy mindful movement and creativity at April Break Kids’ Play Days by The Heart of It

A drop-off program for potty-proficient children ages 3+ is planned for three mornings during spring break: Monday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Wednesday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Friday, April 10, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The cost is $30/session, or $45 for two siblings. Plant seeds and learn at Little Sprouts Seed Planting Day at Valentina Verde Botanica

On Tuesday, April 7, at 11 a.m., visit Valentina Verde Botanica in The Shoppes at East Wind in Wading River for a kids' seed-planting session. There, kids will plant seeds, learn about nature, and take home their own little plant to grow. The cost is $30/child. Open to all ages. Register here.
