Aaaaaahhhh, did the end of the school year sneak up on you, or is it just me?! I feel like it was April yesterday, then I blinked and the Strawberry Festival was upon us, and now, BAM, school’s nearly out for summer. All of that to say, it’s time for teacher gifts! To remove the stress of wondering where to go, I’ve rounded up seven of my favorite North Fork shops, all stocked with great gift ideas. From local honey to lavender to garden items and goods — it’s gift-giving made easy.

The Outpost by touchGOODS, Jamesport

New to the North Fork shopping scene, this Jamesport boutique, which is the “little sister” location of touchGOODS in Southold, stocks vibrant goods, fun gifts, and a bit of western flair. Swing on by for colorful scarves, hand-painted ceramics, candles, decor, and more. The Outpost is currently open Thursday through Monday, 11 AM to 5 PM. Find this new shop at 1560 Main Road in Jamesport.

Lavender by the Bay, East Marion & Calverton

Because every teacher deserves a bit of calm. From freshly cut lavender to bath, body, and culinary products, Lavender by the Bay has both locations (East Marion and Calverton) fully stocked with excellent items to gift. Or, choose a gift card good to use towards touring the lavender fields in full bloom. Note: Gift cards purchased online may only be redeemed online; however, they can still be used towards admission to the lavender fields. Lavender by the Bay in Calverton (3536 Middle Country Road/ Route 25) is currently open 9 AM to 6 PM daily, weather permitting. Lavender by the Bay in East Marion (7540 Main Road) is currently open 10 AM to 5 PM daily, weather permitting.

Disset Chocolate, Cutchogue

It’s nearly impossible to go wrong with artisanal chocolate, especially when handcrafted right here on the North Fork. From bonbons to cookies to a paint-your-own chocolate bar kit, there’s something for everyone at Atelier Disset in Cutchogue. Pro gift tip: Disset’s signature “Paint on a Chocolate Canvas” workshop, which combines a creative experience with delectable chocolate. Disset Chocolate is currently open Thursday through Monday, from noon to 5 PM. Find Disset Chocolate at 28080 Route 25 (Main Road) in Cutchogue.

Andrews Family Farm, Wading River

A beautiful card and a jar of local honey make for the sweetest teacher gift. Head to Andrews Family Farm for these locally made items and more — hello, stunning bouquet of homegrown flowers. Andrews Family Farm is currently open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, Sundays until 4 PM. Find this farm stand at 1038 Sound Avenue in Wading River.

Arni Paperie, Southold

Notepads with local flavor, stationery that feels just right, an array of books one better than the next, and the cutest curated gifts make Arni Paperie an obvious choice for teacher (and everyone else!) gifts. Current hours are Thursday through Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM, Sunday through Wednesday, 11 AM to 4 PM. Find Arni Paperie at 54127 Main Road in Southold.
