THURSDAY

Twilight Thursdays at Corey Creek Tap Room, Southold

Every Thursday evening, Corey Creek Tap Room stays open late for its weekly Twilight Thursdays event from 5 to 9 p.m. There, you’ll listen to live music and nosh on local food in a family-friendly outdoor setting. This week (July 30), Brother Dave will be providing the tunes while Braun Seafood Truck fills hungry bellies. Other music in August includes Gene Casey, Andrew Nicolae,  Points East, and more. Food trucks include Roadhouse Pizza, Founders Oysters, Nice Bunds Food Truck, Balos Foods, and more.

FRIDAY

Low Tide Beach Bar, Greenport

For the best sunset in town, plus a family-friendly vibe, close out your week on the beach at Low Tide Bar at SoundView. This family-friendly spot features live music, bites (including kid-friendly ones), bonfires (lit at 7 p.m.), and drinks. Soak up summer while your kid crew skips rocks into the Sound. Open Friday through Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. through Labor Day. Also open Monday of LDW.

SATURDAY

Sound Waves at Hotel Moraine, Greenport

Every Saturday (and Thursday) through August, Hotel Moraine opens to the public for its Sound Waves series featuring live music, food, drink specials, and the prettiest backdrop ever. In August, you’ll listen to the sounds of Rob Europe, Julia King, Taylor Lane, Paris Ray, Jeff LeBlanc, and more. Families are welcome to enjoy these casual Sound-front hangs.

SUNDAY

Make your own Sunday-Funday at Jamesport Farm Brewery, Riverhead

There are so many good reasons to visit Jamesport Farm Brewery with your kid crew, especially on Sundays when they’re open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sure, it may be busy, but the brewery is wildly spacious with enough seating for all and plenty of grass to spread out on if you’d like to bring your own blanket, which we always do. Once you’re inside the main brewery, the property is fully fenced in, providing peace of mind. There are always a ton of kids playing in the grass (hello, new friends), and there’s always a food truck, so no need to think about dinner. Are you sold yet?
