While “we all scream for ice cream” is forever the ultimate truth, cool your crew during the dog days of summer with these not-so-basic frozen North Fork treats. (But, don’t worry, we’re just as pumped as you are about the new Ben & Jerry’s that’s opened in Riverhead!)

Beach Shack Ice Cream Bike, North Fork

Ice cream sammies and (and ice pops) from a bike cart? Yes, please! This mobile ice cream bicycle, created by a local teen, serves up handcrafted ice cream cookie sandwiches and popsicles across the North Fork. Give them a follow on Instagram to find out where they’ll be biking next.

Dos Ositos Paletas, North Fork

We won’t judge if you serve your kids these small-batch, fresh-fruit ice pops for breakfast. Dos Ositos Paletas are a frozen treat you can feel good about giving to your little ones. The flavors and offerings consistently change depending on seasonal produce availability, so check their Instagram page for flavor drops, info on local pop-ups, and where to find them on the reg.
