North Fork Sports Camps

  • North Fork United Soccer Club, Jean Cochran Park, Peconic

    DETAILS: Fun and challenging developmental soccer activities will help improve your child’s ball mastery, technical ability, and fundamental skills. No previous soccer experience is necessary.

  • North Fork Cheer, Cutchogue

    DETAILS: Run by trained and certified coaches, North Fork Cheer is offering full weeks and single-day camp options packed with excitement, creativity, and learning.

    AGES: 4 and up

    CHEER WEEK: July 6-10
    Dive into stunts, cheers, tumbling, and team spirit with North Fork Cheer’s annual Cheer Week.

    COST: $375/week, or $85/day

    Weekly Camps: 6 weeks: July 13 - August 21
    Each week, choose between:
    Ninja Adventures, Tumble & Cheer, and Creative Crafts & Fun Activities

  • Summer Camp at Inspire Dance Center, Southold

    DETAILS, THEMES, DATES & RATES: Inspire Dance Center is offering week-long themed dance camps this summer, including an American Girl Doll Camp July 6-10 for ages 6+ $300/week, Zooptopia Camp July 13-17 for ages 5+ $300/week, and a K-Pop Demon Hunters Camp July 20-14 for ages 5+ $350/week.

    There is also a Summer Technique Series, offered from July 2 through August 27, and Creative Movement classes for 2-4 year olds, which will be offered on Saturdays from July 11 through August 1.

    DETAILS: Four weeks of camp located at NOFO Wellness Center in Cutchogue.

    AGES: 5-12 with exceptions.

  • Peconic Water Sports Summer Camp, Southold

    DETAILS: Kids Camp is for kids who want to get out and have fun on the water. All of Peconic Water Sports camps follow the same philosophy of teaching campers new skills, while making friends and having fun. The staff are dedicated professionals with years of experience on the water.

    All campers wear life vests at all times, and there are never more than 6 children in any one boat. All staff are certified in CPR/First Aid, and captains are licensed by the United States Coast Guard.

    AGES: 5 – 14

    DATES: June 22 - August 8, Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    COST: $1,350/week or $285/day

  • Old Cove Yacht Club, New Suffolk

    DETAILS: Offering sailing classes for children and teens, ages 5-18, at all ability levels.

    Guppy FOUR SESSIONS (ages 5-6): June 29-July 9, July 13-July 24, July 27-August 6, and August 10-August 21.

    Opti I (ages 6-10), and C420 I (ages 11-15), intermediate Opti 2 (ages 7-11), and C420 2 ages (14-16) TWO SESSIONS June 29-July 24 and July 27-August 21

  • Southold Yacht Club, Southold

  • Mattituck Yacht Club, Mattituck

    DETAILS: Located on the Peconic Bay,  the program promotes sailing, seamanship, and sportsmanship through educational and social programs. 

    MYC welcomes families, adults, and couples, and has sailing instruction for ages 5-18 years, from beginners up to competitive race teams.

    DATES: Programs run June 29 to August 21

    Multiple options for your young sailors, including a full “season pass” of sailing all summer, or 2, 3, or 4-week programs to fit in busy summer schedules.

    Applications from the parent or guardian of your youth sailors or those applying as adults will be reviewed, and you'll be contacted by our Commodore to review our offerings.  Once your application is approved, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to register.  Note that a Family Membership is required for children ages 7 to 18 to take Full Season sailing lessons.

  • Orient Yacht Club, Orient

    With a mission to foster a lifelong interest in sailing, this junior sailing program offers three session options:

    DATES: Classes will be held Monday through Friday from June 29 - August 21. Each class is 3 hours per day.

    Full Summer (8 weeks) – June 29 – August 21Session 1 only (4 weeks) – June 29 – July 24Session 2 only (4 weeks) – July 27 – August 21

    New this summer - Intro Sessions:

    Our Opti I Introductory Sailing Class now offers one- and two-week sessions. If your child is curious about sailing but hesitant to commit to a full month, these shorter sessions are a great way to give it a try. Kids will build confidence, gain independence, and discover the magic of being on the water. If your child loves the program and wants to continue sailing, families will have the option to enroll in the remainder of the session at a prorated fee, based on availability.

    1-week sessions available June 29 - July 3 or July 27 - July 31     

    2-week sessions available June 29 - July 10 or July 27 - August 7

    All children must be 8 years old or older by Dec. 31, 2024. Member and non-member options are available. Opti and 420 classes will be offered from beginner to race levels. Registration opens March 1. Learn more and register here.

  • Hedgewood Farms, Mattituck

  • Hidden Lake Farms, Southold

    DETAILS: Campers will spend fun-filled days learning all about horses and their care. Activities include grooming and handling, horse care, horse-related crafts and games, painting ponies, horse/pony costume parties, and more. In addition, each camper will receive a daily private riding lesson with Miss Jackie. Weekly and single-day options will be available.

    DATES TO COME

    HOURS: The hours are from 9 am to 1 pm.

    RATE: The cost of each week is $650.

    Classes will be limited to 8 students.

  • Intro to Horses Summer Camp at The Little Red Barn, Jamesport

    DETAILS: A fun but more advanced and instructional camp with daily equine hands-on learning and care of horses, miniature horses, and ponies. Proper grooming, nutrition, tack, feeding, safety, and a daily riding lesson. Also includes occasional professional visits from the farm’s veterinarian, horse shoer, and dentist. Baby farm animals, games and crafts available daily as well as a weekly ice cream truck visit. Registration open now. Call or text for registration and information 631-566-1690.
