North Fork Farm & Garden Camps

  • Farm Hands & Take 2 Summers, Riverhead

    DETAILS: Located on the Hallockville Museum Farm property, Farm Hands Summer Camp enriches pre-schoolers’ summers with a unique opportunity to play and learn on a historic North Fork farm.

    The youngest campers, age 2, spend their days exploring a mini-version of the farm at the playspace at Old Steeple Church in Aquebogue.

    FARM HANDS SUMMERS:

    AGES: 3-5 (pre-Kindergarten) at Farm Hands at Hallockville Museum Farm

    DATES: 8 weeks, June 22 - August 14, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (extended day available at an additional cost)

    COST: $435+/week with multi-week and sibling discounts available

    TAKE 2 SUMMERS:

    AGES: 2 at Old Steeple Church

    DATES: 2 or 4-day options available, 9 weeks, June 23 - August 21, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. with 2 or 4-day options.

    COST: Starts at $135/2-day, $220/4-day with multi-week and sibling discounts available

  • Miss Ashley’s Nest, Jamesport

    DETAILS: Enjoy a sweet summer at Miss Ashley’s Nest where life is the curriculum. Offering a home-away-from-home drop-off experience. A place where your child can live in a dream. At this outdoor summer camp, attendees will garden and harvest, water play, pick flowers, care for the resident chickens, enjoy arts and crafts, baking, free play, circle and games, and birthday celebrations.

    Each week includes a different theme, such as ice painting and popsicle making, stars and wands, butterfly wings, and more.

  • Tiny Farmers by Oregon Road Organics, Cutchogue

    DETAILS: This July and August, young growers are invited to join Oregon Road Organics every Thursday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for a fun, engaging, and educational farm experience designed to connect kids to the land, their food, and their farmer.

    At Oregon Road Organics, we believe education is a powerful part of farming! Tiny Farmers gives children the chance to build a real connection to their food, understand the work that goes into growing it, and feel proud of being part of the process.

    Tiny Farmers is built around interactive, age-appropriate farm activities that bring agriculture to life. Each session will focus on a different agricultural practice — from planting and soil health to harvesting, composting, pollinators, and more. Kids will get their hands dirty (in the best way!) while learning!


    AGES: Tiny Farmers is designed for children ages 4–8 years old

    DATES: 4-week monthly sessions:
    July Session: July 9, 16, 23, 30
    August Session: August 6, 13, 20, 27

    COST: $485 per child, per month, Sibling discounts available

  • Hallockville Museum Farm, Riverhead

    DETAILS: Hallockville Museum Farm offers a unique day camp experience for ages 5-12, unlike anything else on the East End. Hallockville’s inspirational setting will surround campers with 250 years of agricultural history! 

    Daily activities at Hallockville’s Farm Camp include circle time interactions with farm animals, including cows, sheep, and chickens, farm chores, feeding animals, and themed projects and activities.

    Rate: $460/week

  • Free Range Kids Camp at Browder’s Birds, Mattituck

    DETAILS: At Free Range Kids Camp hosted by Browder’s Birds, kids will partake in farmwork, crafts, baking, and art. They’ll learn about all of the animals on the farm and how to care for them. Each child will collect and bring home a half dozen eggs each day.

  • Pre-K Kids Camp at Browder’s Birds, Mattituck

  • Baby Farm Animal and Pony Camp at The Little Red Barn, Jamesport

    DETAILS: A fun and interactive camp with baby bunnies, kid goats, miniature horses, ponies, baby piglets, and chicks. Your child will learn animal care, and farm-related activities, and enjoy crafts, games, water sprinklers, ice cream truck visits, pony rides, and more.     AGES: 3 and up

    DATES: 10 weeks, June 16 - August 18 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    COST: $800 per week full day, $400 half day. Drop-in days available. Discounts available.

  • Bakewicz Farms Summer Camp, Wading River

    DETAILS: All children are hands on on with horses, goats, ponies baby chickens, rabbits and more.  Kids will learn how to take care of animals from vet care to feeding, and form bonds with each one, all while learning to be a farmer!
    Farm to table cooking where kids harvest their own crops to take home, cut and make flower bouquets, stem outdoor activities,  and interactive games such as survival and flag football. Blow up water slides and slip and slides every Wednesday along with an ice cream party! Every day is different!

    AGES: 3-11

    DATES: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays July 6th-August 19th.  9-12pm.

    COST: $200 per week.

    Snack and unlimited water is provided.
