Creators’ Club Summer at VEME Studio is a hands-on art adventure for kids ages 6 and up. Each week, explore a fun, creative theme — from Outer Space and Modern Art to Treasure Worlds and Mythical Creatures — using a variety of art materials like clay, paint, collage, printmaking, and mixed media. The program encourages imagination, artistic growth, and self-expression through projects that build skills and confidence.

DETAILS: Songwriting 101 with Julia King is a fun, hands-on class where kids ages 10–16 learn how to turn ideas, feelings, and stories into original songs. Students will explore lyrics, melody, and basic song structure through games, listening, and creative exercises—no experience required. By the end, each student will have the tools and confidence to start writing songs of their own.

DETAILS: Join Ellen Goldstein at the New Suffolk Art Camp to explore artists past to present, and examine how they utilize line, shape, color, value, texture, form and space. As special projects, participants will build model cities, villages and planets with recycled and found materials. The children will develop many tools and concepts to express themselves artistically. There will be a music and art component, exposing children to their music ‘inside’.
