Kick Up Your Heels at the Summer Country Barn Dance at Hallockville Museum Farm
Hallockville Museum Farm will host a Country Barn Dance on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the historic Naugles Barn on the museum farm property at 6038 Sound Avenue in Riverhead.
This family-friendly celebration of traditional country music and dance welcomes dancers of all ages and skill levels. Live music and dance calling will be led by the acclaimed caller Chart Guthrie, providing instruction throughout the evening so attendees can join in the fun whether they’re a seasoned dancer or trying steps for the first time.
The event celebrates community spirit and the rich agricultural and cultural heritage of the North Fork in a relaxed barn setting. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring their friends and family to share the experience of lively music, traditional dances, and community connection under the roof of one of the area’s historic farm buildings.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and participants are welcome to bring a picnic before the Dance.
Admission:
• $35 for ages 13 and up
• $5 for ages 5–12
• Children under 5 free
Registration is required at www.hallockville.org. Proceeds from the event help support Hallockville’s mission to preserve and interpret rural life and traditions through educational programs and community events.
