Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) invites you to not one, but two celebrations of Tap Dance! The North Fork premiere production at the Southold High School auditorium on Saturday, May 9th at 5pm and our 10th Anniversary presentation on the South Fork at Guild Hall on Sunday, May 17th at 2pm. 

Thanks to a generous grant from North Fork Side by Side Foundation, the North Fork will not only be getting their first Tap Show, but over the past 3 months OFVS has been able to provide free tap classes at the Cutchogue Library, North Fork Academy of Dance, and Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center to get new and veteran tap students prepared to perform in the show. Students from these classes will present their tap routines alongside featured performers including the Butterfly Effect Project’s Elite Squad Step Team, the North Fork Community Theater’s cast of Anything Goes with a sneak preview performance of “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and dancers from the Our Fabulous Variety Show studio and competition programs. 

On May 17, OFVS will present their 10th Anniversary Tap Show at Guild Hall in East Hampton. This production will also host the Butterfly Effect Project’s Elite Squad Step Team and students from the OFVS competition team and studio programs. 

Both productions will showcase classic routines like the “Bojagles” stair dance, Shirley Temple’s “On The Good Ship Lollipop”, “Anything Goes,” and Take Five along with new and revived routines.
