“Los Animales en el Invierno” Bilingual Puppetry Workshop

Turtleback Conservation Center’s popular third annual bilingual "Animals in Winter" puppet-making workshop is now a family program! This collaboration with Town of Southold's Community Relations Specialist Sonia Spar, Carmen Campos of PuppetED, and Jennifer Murray of Turtleback Conservation Center involves a nature hike discovering how animals adapt to winter, various crafts, puppet-making, and a bilingual kid-created puppet skit at the end! Enjoy hot cocoa and snacks after the hike. This program is FREE!

After a brief hike outdoors, discovering how wildlife survive the winter months with Naturalist Jennifer Murray, participants will head indoors to create puppets and collaborate for a fun, educational puppet show with Carmen Campos of PuppetEd.

“Los animales en el invierno”, un taller bilingüe de títeres. Los participantes irán en un breve caminata para explorar cómo sobreviven los animales durante los meses de invierno, luego irán al interior para hacer títeres trabajando con la profe Carmen. Cada estudiante creará un títere animal y colaborará en una producción de títeres en español/inglés de “Los animales en el invierno.”
